In China, the AI bubble has already burst

Concerns over overvaluation in China's AI-focused stocks and export restrictions have caused markets to decline by 40% over the past four months, wiping out approximately $480 billion in market value.

While there was no single clear sell-off trigger in the markets, traders noted that high valuations, tax payments, and threats from the U.S. and other countries to ban Chinese equipment in data centers contributed to the decline. Shares of robot maker Unitree have fallen by half since their August IPO, while chipmaker CXMT has lost more than a quarter of its value over the past month. Chipmakers such as MetaX Integrated Circuits and Moore Threads Technology have also halved in value since July.
