Implemented within the framework of Istanbul Modern Cinema's Young Tuesday program, the "Shiver Tuesdays" events present cult, extraordinary, and chilling examples of horror cinema to film enthusiasts on one Tuesday evening every month.

As Halloween approaches, the program's first screening brings Ari Aster's directed film Midsommar to audiences. The production, which focuses on the experience of a group of American youths attending a summer solstice festival in Sweden that turns into a nightmare, is screened on October 20.

Within the scope of the events, I Saw the TV Glow (Miyazma Kampı), directed by Jane Schoenbrun and which made its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, takes place on November 17. The horror-filled Tuesday nights conclude on December 15 with the 2016 South Korean zombie thriller Train to Busan by director Yeon Sang-ho.

Istanbul Modern's Young Tuesday program offers young people between the ages of 18-25 the opportunity to explore the museum for free. Young people can visit all exhibitions for free every Tuesday between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM; additionally, cinema-focused talks, competitions, and various events are organized on one Tuesday of every month.
