Slavoj Žižek's Presentation at Kobanî University Published as a Book

The transcription and Turkish translation of the conference titled “Is Democracy Still an Option?”, delivered by world-renowned Slovenian philosopher and cultural critic Slavoj Žižek on April 18, 2021, as part of the opening of Kobanî University, have been turned into a book. Published by Luvi Publications, the work has met with readers.

The title of the work, published under the label of Luvi Publications, was determined as “The Impossible Subject: Kurds, Rojava, and Contemporary Communism”. The book was presented to readers in both Turkish and English editions.

During the preparation process of the work, the conference text was transcribed and translated into Turkish by Binevş Güney, while the editing duties were undertaken by journalist Osman Damla.
