Sports community celebrates October 29 Republic Day and its 103rd anniversary

Turkey's leading sports clubs and federations celebrated the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey and October 29 Republic Day with messages they published.

In a message shared on the club's website, Beşiktaş Club President Serdal Adalı celebrated the 103rd year of the Republic of Turkey, emphasizing the independence struggle initiated by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and the importance of the Republic. Fenerbahçe Club stated in its website message that the independence won 103 years ago was crowned with the Republic, while Galatasaray Club also celebrated October 29 Republic Day.

Turkish Basketball Federation President Hidayet Türkoğlu, the Turkish Football Federation, the Turkish Volleyball Federation and many other sports federations celebrated Republic Day with messages they published, commemorating Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms with mercy and gratitude.
