Starlink Satellite Internet Installed at Nam Toc School Branch
Access to educational materials and communication has been facilitated thanks to the satellite internet installed at a disadvantaged school branch in Thai Nguyen province.
Starlink satellite internet equipment has been provided to the Nam Toc school branch in Phong Quang commune, Thai Nguyen province, facilitating teachers' and students' access to digital learning resources.
Region and Infrastructure Status of the School
The Nam Toc school branch, located in Na Pan village of Phong Quang commune, has ten preschool students and two teachers.
Although the school has access to a paved road and the national electricity grid, there is no mobile phone reception in the area, and the nearest base station is nine kilometers away.
Innovations in Communication and Education
Communication issues between teachers, administrative bodies, local authorities, and parents have been resolved thanks to the newly established satellite internet system.
The system also supports management processes, information exchange, and access to digital learning materials, thereby increasing teaching efficiency.
General Project Scope and Installations
Within the scope of the work carried out by the Thai Nguyen Department of Science and Technology, Starlink systems were installed at the Nam Toc school in Phong Quang commune and the Ban Lap school in Phuc Loc commune.
It was shared that the Starlink internet service covers a total of two hundred and fifty-four locations.
