Steps for Cooperation Between Vietnam and China's Shaanxi Province
As part of contacts aimed at deepening relations between the two countries, emphasis was placed on partnerships in science, technology, and railway projects.
During his official visit to China, Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man met with Zhao Yide, Secretary of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee, and decided to increase cooperation in strategic areas.
Comprehensive Meeting and the Importance of the Visit
Tran Thanh Man, who is in Xi'an to co-chair the second session of the Cooperation Committee between the Vietnamese National Assembly and the National People's Congress of China, met with Shaanxi Party Secretary Zhao Yide. Zhao Yide stated that this high-level visit demonstrates the importance attached to deepening friendly relations between the two countries and local governments.
Proposals in Technology and Transportation
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man stated that Shaanxi and Vietnamese local authorities should strengthen partnerships in science, technology, energy, high-tech agriculture, transportation infrastructure, and especially railways. He also proposed achieving progress in qualified human resources, culture, and tourism.
Inter-Local Government Partnerships
The successful seminar organized by the sister provinces of Hung Yen and Shaanxi on investment, innovation, industry, and education during the visit was welcomed with great satisfaction. Shaanxi Province confirmed its readiness to work with Vietnam's relevant ministries and local authorities.
