Veterinarian physicians working within the Çorum Provincial Directorate are carrying out inspections in the field to protect animal health, ensure early detection of potential diseases, and prevent their spread. As part of these efforts, the health conditions of imported animals in particular are being closely monitored.

The efforts aim to identify epidemic animal diseases at an early stage and take necessary precautions in a timely manner. Reducing risks that may stem from animal movements during inspections at livestock enterprises is also among the priority topics. Emphasis is placed on implementing preventive measures to protect herd health and strengthening biosecurity in the enterprises.

The Çorum Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry emphasized the importance of producers paying attention to hygiene rules upon entering and exiting enterprises. It was stated that animal movements must be carried out with the necessary health and transport documents. Producers were asked to follow the recommendations of veterinary physicians and to report to provincial or district directorates without wasting time in case of any suspicion of disease.

The Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry aims to protect both animal health and the sustainability of animal production through the ongoing inspections. While the efforts are targeted at contributing to the protection of producers' labor, it was reported that field operations for combating epidemic diseases and increasing biosecurity will continue.
