Takasbank published a written statement addressing the untrue allegations circulating on social media and in various media outlets regarding the Takasbank Money Market (TPP) and the Turkey Electronic Fund Trading Platform (TEFAS).

Takasbank stated that the bank does not take part as a lender or borrower in the TPP and does not provide any financing from its own resources. In the statement made on the institution's social media account, it was emphasized that the recent allegations claiming financing was provided to certain individuals and organizations through the TPP do not reflect the truth.

In the statement, it was expressed that all borrowings in the TPP are collateralized, with approximately 450 billion TL of collateral against transactions amounting to approximately 240 billion TL, and that no defaults have occurred to date.

Including evaluations regarding TEFAS, it was noted that the TLY-Tera Portfolio First Hedge Fund has been trading based on the approval of the Capital Markets Board (CMB) as of August 12, 2025, and that the allegations claiming the fund operated without authorization for 11 months do not reflect the truth.
