TARSIM received 478 thousand damage notifications in 2026

The Agricultural Insurance Pool (TARSIM) announced that it received a total of 478 thousand damage notifications within the scope of crop, greenhouse, and livestock insurance during the January-October period of 2026, and that 13 billion liras were paid to producers.

The Agricultural Insurance Pool (TARSIM) received 478 thousand damage notifications from insured producers and breeders whose crops, greenhouses, and animals were damaged due to various reasons in the January-October period of 2026. Out of these notifications, 311 thousand originated from crop and greenhouse insurance, while 167 thousand were from livestock life insurance. During this period, 1.5 trillion liras worth of agricultural assets were insured, 2.4 million policies were generated, and 27 million decares of land along with 25.5 million bovine and ovine animals were brought under insurance coverage. A total of 13 billion liras was transferred to producers whose damage files have been completed.
