TEKNOFEST Southeast opens its doors in Sanliurfa
The aviation, space, and technology festival has started welcoming visitors in Sanliurfa with various aircraft, competitions, and extensive exhibition areas.
TEKNOFEST Southeast, organized under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the T3 Foundation, and STM, with Anadolu Agency as the global communication partner, has opened its doors to visitors at Sanliurfa GAP Airport.
Festival Organizers and Partners
The Aviation, Space, and Technology Festival TEKNOFEST Southeast is being implemented under the joint coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Turkey Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), and Defense Technologies Engineering and Trade Inc. (STM). Anadolu Agency takes part in the event as the global communication partner.
Spacious Area and New Experiences
Established on a massive area of 191,000 square meters at Sanliurfa GAP Airport, the festival is being held in the city for the first time. The venue features numerous special experience and exhibition areas for participants.
Original sections such as the Gobeklitepe Experience Area, Journey of the Material, Experience Exhibition, Hezarfen Experience Area, HURKUS Mini Flight Area, and TUME Event Area are meeting visitors for the first time at this festival.
Defense Industry and Aircraft
Aircraft representing the pride of the domestic and national defense industry are being exhibited at the event, which has attracted intense interest from visitors. Platforms such as Bayraktar KIZILELMA, KAAN, Bayraktar TB3, HURJET, Bayraktar AKINCI, Bayraktar TB2, ANKA, GOKBEY, and ATAK are featured in the area.
Events and Shows
Lasting for five days, the festival hosts breathtaking air shows alongside technology competitions, educational workshops, and various experience areas. The program also features performances by the Turkish Stars and SOLOTURK teams, as well as a concert by Semicenk.
