Tezmaksan overcame Chinese competition with technology and software exports
Tezmaksan Group CEO Hakan Aydoğdu shared the company's transformation process from a machine tool supplier to a technology company exporting robotic automation and software.
Tezmaksan Group CEO Hakan Aydoğdu recounted the company's transformation story over more than 40 years from an importer supplying machine tools into a global player exporting robotic automation and software technologies. Stating that they followed a technology and efficiency-focused strategy instead of competing on cheapness against the price pressure of Chinese-origin products, Aydoğdu noted that they have reached more than 40 countries.
Tezmaksan experienced its first major turning point in its export journey by introducing the CubeBOX system to the European market. Receiving feedback from industrial fairs such as EMO Hannover and AMB Stuttgart, the company developed the system, which stands out with its compact structure and rapid integration feature. Mass production commenced at the high-tech factory in Sivas, and OEM collaborations were established with global manufacturers such as Mitsubishi and Brother.
Hakan Aydoğdu stated that instead of entering into price competition, they established an intelligent ecosystem enabling customers to recover their investments within 6 months to 1 to 1 year. The fact that Japanese technology giants also prefer CubeBOX and RoboCAM solutions in machine tools was evaluated as an indication that the company has become a part of global manufacturing standards.
