The 17th International Şefika Kutluer Festival Begins in Ankara and Istanbul
The 17th International Şefika Kutluer Festival will meet art lovers in Ankara and Istanbul on November 30 with the message "Let Children Not Die."
Organized by State Artist Şefika Kutluer, the 17th International Şefika Kutluer Festival is opening its doors with concerts at the Ankara CSO ADA Blue Hall and Istanbul Taksim AKM. The opening concert will be held on November 30 with the message "Let Children Not Die."
Bearing the signature of State Artist and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Şefika Kutluer, the festival is being held this year with the theme "East Meets West." At the festival's opening concert on November 30, Kutluer will dedicate her concert to the memory of children who lost their lives in Iran.
Taking place under the title "The Voice of Ancient Civilization – Turkish-Iranian Friendship Concert," Şefika Kutluer will share the same stage with traditional instrument artists coming from Iran. Instruments such as the tar, santur, qanun, oud, and bendir will be performed alongside the artist's flute. Continuing without any interruption for 17 years, including the pandemic years, the festival continues to bring international artists together in Turkey.
