The Wait Begins for 2026-2027 KYK Scholarship and Loan Application Results

Applications for the 2026-2027 KYK scholarship and student loan period, conducted by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (GSB) and the General Directorate of Credit and Hostels, were completed between October 12 and October 16, 2026.

Applications for the KYK scholarship and student loan for the 2026-2027 academic year, received by the General Directorate of Credit and Hostels under the Ministry of Youth and Sports, ended on October 16, 2026. Students newly registered in a higher education program, intermediate class students, and Turkish citizens studying abroad completed the application process.

The evaluation process is carried out by comparing data obtained from 12 different government institutions with the statements of the students. The economic status of the student and their family plays a decisive role in scholarship allocation. According to the scholarship regulation, students who cannot receive a scholarship are provided with the opportunity for a student loan.

The results are expected to be announced at the latest by the last week of November. Following the announcement to be made by the GSB, students will be able to query the results via e-Government using their Turkish ID numbers, and those eligible will be able to approve their commitment letters.
