The official working visit to Ankara by TRNC President Tufan Erhürman, planned for October 15-16, has been postponed to a later date due to a health issue.

Reason for the Postponement of the Visit

According to information obtained from presidential sources, a cervical disc hernia condition that TRNC President Tufan Erhürman has been experiencing for some time played a role in this decision. It was decided to postpone the Ankara program due to Erhürman's health condition.

Planned Ankara Program and Events

As part of Tufan Erhürman's visit to Ankara, he was scheduled to participate as the guest of honor in the Capital Meetings and deliver a conference titled "The Cyprus Problem in Light of Developments in the Region." He was also expected to attend a TEPAV session and meet with members of the press.

Future Plans and New Date

Presidential sources stated that this postponed working visit is anticipated to be carried out again in the near future. However, it was reported that a new date for Erhürman's Ankara program has not yet been finalized.
