Union Contacts in Italy from Öz Sağlık-İş President Devlet Sert

Öz Sağlık-İş Union and HAK-İŞ Vice President Devlet Sert met with executives of UIL FPL and the UIL Confederation in Rome, the capital of Italy, to hold talks on the rights of health and social services employees, common problems, and international solidarity.

HAK-İŞ Vice President and Öz Sağlık-İş Union President Devlet Sert visited the Italian Public Services and Health Union (UIL FPL) and the UIL Confederation in Rome. Within the scope of the visits, information was provided on the protection of the rights of health and social services employees in Turkey, the improvement of working conditions, and the union struggle.

Meeting with UIL FPL National General Secretary Rita Longobardi and UIL FPL National Press and Communication Officer Chiara Lucacchioni at the UIL FPL Headquarters, Sert conveyed the achievements of the public framework protocol and their organizational strength. Rita Longobardi, on the other hand, drew attention to the problems of the health sector in Italy, staff burnout, and wage difficulties.

Devlet Sert also held a meeting at the UIL Headquarters with Massimo Di Pietro, Head of the UIL International Relations Unit, President of the Union of Italians in the World (UIM), and Executive Committee Member of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), evaluating current trade union issues such as global workforce mobility and the rights of migrant workers.
