18 filmmakers who applied to the Antalya Film Forum shared their suspicion with the public that the application videos were evaluated without being watched because they could not access the view counts of some application videos during the evaluation period. Deniz Yavuz, the Artistic Director of the festival, stated that unlike competitions, there is no obligation to watch application videos in project evaluations at the Film Forum.

Deniz Yavuz stated that evaluations in project development platforms are carried out comprehensively, board members can complete their evaluations without watching the videos, and complete minutes are kept at the end of the process. He also noted that view metrics on video platforms are not always reliable and an official statement regarding the issue will be made. Yavuz emphasized that candidate films in the festival's competition selections are evaluated and decided upon by preliminary juries after being watched.
