Vincenzo Italiano sets the target in Besiktas's Basaksehir match preparations

Besiktas will face Basaksehir at home in the 9th week of the Trendyol Super League. The black-and-white team will take the field to erase the traces of the Trabzonspor defeat and end the series of point losses experienced upon returning from European competition matches.

Besiktas, in the championship race, will host Basaksehir in the 9th week of the Super League and look for a rebound after the Trabzonspor defeat. The black-and-white team has experienced point losses in the league matches played after UEFA Europa League fixtures this season. Taking their first defeat in the league away against Alanyaspor upon returning from the Zalgiris match, the Black Eagles were defeated by Amed Sportif in Diyarbakir after the Marseille victory, and away against Trabzonspor following the Hoffenheim win. Having drawn 2-2 with Crystal Palace on Thursday evening, Besiktas aims to put an end to this negative trend by winning the Basaksehir match.

Head Coach Vincenzo Italiano drew attention to the point losses experienced following European tests in his recent meeting with his players. The experienced manager emphasized that they have to close the week, in which the Galatasaray and Fenerbahce derbies are played, with three points.
