Vincenzo Montella Linked with Italian Serie A Side Napoli

While curiosity surrounds where Vincenzo Montella will continue his career after leaving the Turkish National Football Team, a notable claim has emerged from Italy. As the future of head coach Massimiliano Allegri is being debated at Napoli, a Serie A side that started the season below expectations, it has been claimed that Montella is among the candidates.

In Napoli, which has collected 10 points in the first 7 matches of the Serie A season and left both Champions League matches empty-handed, head coach Massimiliano Allegri's seat is in jeopardy. According to claims reflected in the Italian press, the club management will wait for the results of the Champions League match against Bodo/Glimt and the league match against Roma to make a decision regarding Allegri. It is stated that negative results in these matches could trigger a change in head coach.

In the event of a potential change at Napoli, the names of candidates being discussed alongside Igor Tudor and Thiago Motta include Vincenzo Montella, whose tenure with the Turkish National Football Team ended on October 9, 2026. The Italian coach, who had been managing the crescent-and-star team since September 2023, had led Turkey to the quarterfinals in EURO 2024 and played a role in securing qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
