Visit from TDP to KTFF: Proposal to establish a Ministry of Youth and Sports

Socialist Democracy Party (TDP) Leader Zeki Çeler and the accompanying delegation came together with Cyprus Turkish Football Association (KTFF) President Hasan Sertoğlu to discuss the problems of sports and proposed solutions.

During the visit, current problems of Turkish Cypriot football, the sustainability of clubs, the state of sports infrastructure, and the future of young athletes were addressed. The TDP delegation included parliamentary candidates as well as representatives from the Sports Committee and Youth Organization.

TDP argued that the current public administration structure is insufficient to meet the needs of sports, stating that the establishment of a Ministry of Youth and Sports with a clear budget and objectives is mandatory. KTFF President Hasan Sertoğlu expressed his satisfaction with the visit and stated that he viewed TDP's views on the development of sports positively.
