Following Warren Buffett's departure from the CEO role at the end of 2025, his successor Greg Abel implemented changes in Berkshire Hathaway's investment portfolio. The total value of Apple, Alphabet, and Bending Spoons shares in the company's portfolio has reached approximately $114.4 billion.

According to the second-quarter 13F filing, Berkshire Hathaway owns 227.9 million shares of Apple valued at $79.1 billion. With the stakes increased under Abel's leadership, the total value of Class A and Class C shares in Alphabet reached $33.8 billion. Additionally, while a $600 million investment was made in Bending Spoons during its July IPO, the stake in the company was raised to approximately 4% with an additional $330 million commitment provided through a private placement. Although none of these companies are directly focused on artificial intelligence, each possesses business models capable of gaining value through AI integration.
