We Energies World Series Electrical Infrastructure Guarantee

We Energies is taking proactive measures and inspecting grid infrastructure to ensure electrical reliability throughout the World Series in which the Milwaukee Brewers are competing.

The electric utility is thoroughly checking the equipment connecting the American Family Field stadium and local broadcaster Fox6 to the power grid. Crews are using specialized technologies such as acoustic cameras that detect ultrasonic sound waves to identify potential equipment issues or overloaded components, and infrared cameras to assess system temperatures.

On Wednesday morning, trouble crew member Jim Patnode completed patrol duties around the Fox6 broadcast tower near Estabrook Park. In addition, forestry crews were assigned to trim trees near power lines. These efforts continued with the final comprehensive inspection completed last week ahead of the World Series, following earlier patrols conducted before Opening Day and the playoffs.
