World's largest battery manufacturer CATL is entering the Turkish market
Electric vehicle battery giant CATL is opening its NING Service center in Turkey on November 19, 2026, under Ascendum's Green.Shift strategy. The center to be established in Istanbul will provide local technical support and repair services for battery technologies.
Chinese company CATL, the world's largest electric vehicle battery manufacturer, is making its official entry into the Turkish market as of November 19, 2026. Within the scope of the strategic business model 'Green.Shift' by Ascendum, which operates in the machinery sector, the company will launch its global after-sales service network, NING Service center, in Istanbul.
The NING Service center to be opened in Istanbul will be a part of CATL's global service and lifecycle management network for battery technologies. Thanks to this cooperation, technical support, maintenance, and repair services required for vehicles and energy storage systems using CATL batteries can now be provided locally in Turkey. Advanced diagnosis and repair processes that previously required expert support from abroad will be resolved in Turkey with this center.
On the other hand, it was stated that the battery and chassis infrastructure of Togg's T6X model, planned to hit the roads in June 2027, will be provided by CATL's subsidiary CAIT.
