Yelp has introduced a new AI voice assistant feature called "Check for Me" that allows users to have the app call restaurants to find out wait times.

Thanks to the new feature added to the Yelp app, users can enter the number of guests and their phone number on restaurant pages to have the AI assistant call the business. After checking the wait times, the AI agent sends the results to users as a text message. The platform is also rolling out new updates, including OpenTable integration, personalized recommendations, and a $30-per-month "Smart Lead Reply" feature for businesses.
