Zenzap, an AI-powered messaging platform aiming to replace consumer-focused applications like WhatsApp in workplaces, has raised $44 million in funding led by Bessemer, Lightspeed, and The Garage.

Founding of the Startup and Investment Process

Founded by Guy Weiss, Zenzap enables companies to communicate securely with their employees while combining corporate knowledge with artificial intelligence.

In the startup's initial funding round, alongside Bessemer, Lightspeed, and The Garage, notable names such as Wix President Nir Zohar and former EY Managing Director Yoram Tietz also participated.

Features Offered by the Application

Zenzap offers core features such as group chats, direct messaging, task management, and calendar integration to its users in its free version.

Under paid plans, smart task ranking, templates, higher file storage limits, and AI-powered voice and video calls become active.

Customer Portfolio and Future Plans

Currently, major organizations such as FedEx, Dollar General, Taco Bell, Starbucks, Casey’s, and Regal are among the customers choosing Zenzap.

The startup, which has a total of 50 employees across the US, Tel Aviv, and Europe, plans to use the funds raised to expand its product and R&D departments.
