51 suspects captured in ISIS operations across sixteen provinces

İçişleri Bakanlığı, terör örgütü DEAŞ'a yönelik 16 ilde düzenlenen operasyonlarda 51 şüphelinin yakalandığını bildirdi.
Bakanlıktan yapılan açıklamaya göre, İl Jandarma komutanlıklarınca terör örgütü DEAŞ'e yönelik 16 ilde operasyonlar düzenlendi.
Adana, Adıyaman, Balıkesir, Bursa, Diyarbakır, Düzce, Edirne, Gaziantep, Iğdır, Kayseri, Mardin, Mersin, Nevşehir, Sinop, Şanlıurfa ve Zonguldak'ta gerçekleştirilen operasyonlarda 51 şüpheli gözaltına alındı.
Şüphelilerin, terör örgütü DEAŞ'a üye oldukları, terör örgütüyle iltisaklı kişiler ve sözde yardım kuruluşları vasıtasıyla örgüte finans sağladıkları, sosyal medya hesapları üzerinden örgütün propagandasını yaptıklarının tespit edildiği belirtildi."

Operations were carried out against the terrorist organization ISIS in 16 provinces by the Provincial Gendarmerie Commands under the coordination of the Ministry of Interior. A total of 51 suspects were detained in the raids, while details regarding the activities of the suspects emerged.

Scope of the Operation and Provinces

According to the statement made by the Ministry of Interior, comprehensive security measures were taken against the terrorist organization ISIS across the country. In this context, simultaneous operations were carried out in the provinces of Adana, Adıyaman, Balıkesir, Bursa, Diyarbakır, Düzce, Edirne, Gaziantep, Iğdır, Kayseri, Mardin, Mersin, Nevşehir, Sinop, Şanlıurfa, and Zonguldak.

Number of Suspects Detained

As a result of the efforts carried out by the Provincial Gendarmerie Commands in the specified 16 provinces, a total of 51 suspects were captured. It was reported that judicial proceedings have been initiated regarding the detained suspects.

Detection of Organizational Activities

During the examinations conducted by security units, it was determined that the captured suspects were members of the terrorist organization ISIS. Additionally, it was identified that the suspects provided financial support to the organization through individuals connected to the organization and so-called relief organizations.

Propaganda via Social Media

In line with the findings obtained, it was also established that the suspects engaged in propaganda for the terrorist organization via social media accounts. The investigation is continuing in a multi-faceted manner.
