76 criminals sought with red notices and at national level brought to Turkey
As a result of international cooperation by security units, 76 suspects caught in various countries were transferred to Turkey.
According to the statement made by the Ministry of Interior, a total of 76 criminals, for whom red notices and national search warrants were issued, were brought to Turkey as a result of joint efforts.
Details of the International Operation
In the briefing made via the official social media account of the Ministry of Interior, it was stated that the wanted individuals were successfully captured and their extradition to the country was ensured.
Countries from Which Criminals Were Brought
The extradition of 61 of the suspects was carried out from Georgia, four criminals from Greece and Germany each, and two criminals from France and the USA each.
It was stated that the remaining individuals were transferred to Turkey as a result of the processes carried out with the relevant authorities in the UK, Serbia, and Azerbaijan.
Inter-Institutional Coordination
The Interpol-Europol Department of the General Directorate of Security and officials of the Ministry of Justice played an active role during the operation process.
Law enforcement units of foreign countries cooperated with the joint efforts of the departments of KOM, Intelligence, Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime, Cyber Crimes, Public Order, and TEM.
