Artificial Intelligence Education Initiative by the Ministry of National Education and Koç Holding
Details of the new program aimed at spreading artificial intelligence literacy at the middle school level have been announced.
Developed in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education, Koç Holding, and the Vehbi Koç Foundation, the Artificial Intelligence Education Program was introduced to the public at a meeting held in Istanbul, with the project aiming to reach millions of students.
Program Launch Meeting
The cooperation project aimed at spreading artificial intelligence literacy at the middle school level was officially introduced with a ceremony held at Beykoz Koç Middle School in Istanbul.
Ministry and Official Statements
Attending the promotional meeting, Deputy Minister of National Education Ömer Faruk Yelkenci stated that the project is among the core components of the Turkey Century Education Model.
In his speech, Ömer Faruk Yelkenci emphasized that the project encompasses being aware of systems thinking, grasping the relationships between parts, and understanding the purpose of the system.
Koç Holding and Foundation Contribution
Koç Holding CEO and Vehbi Koç Foundation Board Member Levent Çakıroğlu stated that the conglomerate is celebrating its 100th anniversary.

Target Audience and Scope
The comprehensive Artificial Intelligence Education Program that has been implemented is planned to reach a total of 5.2 million middle school students across Turkey.
