Brigadier General Ali Haddadi-Samani, Deputy Operations Commander of the Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Headquarters, announced that artificial intelligence technology has been incorporated into domestic air defense networks.

Artificial Intelligence Integration

Artificial intelligence technology, which has started to be used in domestic defense platforms, aims to accelerate detection, analysis, and engagement cycles by supporting operators. It is emphasized that this system, which provides tactical advantages, must be carefully supervised.

Military Operations

During recent military clashes, Iranian air defense elements shot down a US MQ-9 Reaper UAV, and official statistics are awaited, it was stated. Additionally, information was shared that an American aerial refueling tanker was shot down and an A-10 aircraft was targeted in the Persian Gulf.

Tactical Measures

It was reported that deception operations played a critical role throughout the clashes, with enemy fire being redirected to non-operational targets. It was stated that a decoy installation was hit more than twenty times.

Civilian Flight Safety

It was stated that within the first forty-eight hours of hostilities, approximately eighty commercial aircraft at Tehran Mehrabad Airport were smoothly evacuated to secure facilities.

Domestic Infrastructure

It was emphasized that the air defense infrastructure, built under decades of international trade restrictions, was developed entirely with domestic resources. It was noted that strategic partner countries did not provide air defense equipment and all systems were manufactured by Iranian engineers.
