Past Success and Acquisition Process
The startup, which previously achieved a major breakthrough with the popular calorie-tracking app Cal AI, was acquired by MyFitnessPal in March after climbing the app store rankings.
Future Plans and Wearable Product
Yadegari, who left MyFitnessPal in June, focused on the Persona project, which launched as a free beta via iMessage and reached thousands of users. The project also includes a $179 wearable wristband expected to be released in December.
