Slackbot utilizes artificial intelligence to gather information from relevant conversations and connected applications such as Google Drive or Salesforce. The generated Surface content can be shared with colleagues and pinned to channels, thereby enabling teams to collaborate.

Accessibility and Scheduled Dates

The new feature is being made available to all customers, including free users who have Slackbot enabled in their workspaces. Usage with live data will begin in October, and the system will only pull information that the AI tools have permission to access.

Advanced Assistant Features

This update comes months after Slackbot was equipped with capabilities such as summarizing cross-channel information, extracting messages, and scheduling meetings. Users can perform actions directly within the chat without having to transfer their data to another tool.
