AI-powered fashion discovery app Daydream has rolled out new features enabling iPhone users to turn saved outfit photos into shoppable results and search for clothes via Siri without opening the app.

New iOS 27 Features

Daydream has officially launched two new features that enable iPhone users to transform saved outfit photos into shoppable results. Utilizing these innovations requires an iPhone running iOS 27 with Siri AI enabled and the free Daydream app.

Shopping from the Camera Roll

The first feature uses Apple's image context capabilities to allow users to shop through images saved in the Photos app. The app analyzes the outfit in the image to identify its pieces and lists similar styles from a catalog of approximately 3 million products.

If the original product is still available, Daydream matches it with its retailer; otherwise, it offers similar options. It is also designed to understand users' variation requests on items in the image, such as color changes.

Siri Integration

The second feature is Siri-powered natural language search functionality. Users can create voice or text-based requests without having to open the Daydream app.

Users can directly convey their requests to Siri to receive personalized results. This experience can be further customized by setting up a Style Passport, which includes information such as size, preferred brands, and budget.

Goals in the Fashion Industry

The company competes in the AI shopping tools market alongside players like Google, Amazon, Onton, and Alta. Co-founder and CEO Julie Bornstein states that, unlike other visual search tools, they possess expertise specifically in the fashion category.

This launch is part of Daydream's broader strategy for AI-powered fashion shopping. The company's ultimate goal is to build a comprehensive shopping assistant that can understand users' style across all areas.
