UK-based DNEG, under the umbrella of Prime Focus, will continue to hold a 66 percent stake in Brahma AI following the investment.

According to an official statement made by Prime Focus, there was an additional $100 million in investor demand for the startup.
Company management is evaluating the option to increase the size of the round to accommodate some or all of this strong interest.

Acquisition of Metaphysic and Global Integration
Brahma AI acquired the UK-based company Metaphysic, which creates real-time generative AI media, in February of last year.
Narasimhan expressed their goal of building an AI-driven platform by combining the talents within DNEG, Metaphysic, and Prime Focus.
