Financial Position and Revenue Data
According to the company's prospectus, Nscale generated $140.6 million in revenue and reported a net loss of $1.02 billion for the six-month period ending June 30, 2026. In the same period of the previous year, the net loss stood at $368.9 million, while revenues surged by 1,252 percent.
Industry Competition and Customers
The market features industry giants like Amazon alongside next-generation AI-focused cloud suppliers such as CoreWeave and Nebius. Nscale collaborates with major names including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Microsoft.
Diversification and Acquisitions
In order to diversify its revenue streams, Nscale has started handling inference requests for numerous models. The company also announced plans in July to acquire Anyscale, a startup that develops software to help create artificial intelligence models.
Board of Directors and Workforce
London-based Nscale employs over a thousand full-time staff members as of August 31. The company's board of directors includes former OpenAI, Instacart, and Meta executive Fidji Simo, alongside figures such as Nick Clegg and Sheryl Sandberg.
Infrastructure and Investor Support
Spun off from cryptocurrency mining company Arkon Energy in 2024, Nscale is backed by prominent investors including Blue Owl, Dell, Nvidia, Fidelity, and Point72.
