Anthropic Relaunches Claude Code Projects for Cloud-Based AI Agents
The revamped Claude Code projects enable users to run multiple AI agents simultaneously in the cloud with shared memory and common goals.
Anthropic has reintroduced the Projects feature in the Claude Code platform, enabling the simultaneous management of multiple AI agents in a cloud environment toward shared memory, file libraries, and objectives.
Cloud-Based AI Agents
The revamped project feature allows users to run multiple agents under the same umbrella with a shared memory, objectives, and file library. Much like other similar tools, each project includes threads that execute different tasks in parallel.
Workflow and Conflict Management
Each thread operates as a Claude Code cloud session working on its own branch and repository clone. While a coordinator ensures that work progresses smoothly, conflicts between threads working on the same code are resolved just like in a standard pull request.
Access and Future Plans
Users can interact with each thread individually or follow the process through the main project chat. The updated feature is initially rolling out in beta for select subscribers, with plans to expand to all tier-one and enterprise users in the future.
