United States President Donald Trump announced that artificial intelligence technology will be officially renamed as "superintelligence," arguing that it is vastly bigger than the internet and the Industrial Revolution.

Superintelligence Definition Instead of Artificial Intelligence

United States President Donald Trump argued that the term artificial intelligence is similar to the concept of "fake news" and emphasized that this naming needs to be changed.

Trump stated that the tool is not "artificial" and therefore they do not want this word to be used, noting that he will sign a strong executive order for the official naming.

Comparison with the Internet and the Industrial Revolution

The US President noted that the technology in question will have a scale much greater than the Industrial Revolution and the internet, and that it will never impede technological growth.

It is anticipated that evaluations regarding the benefits of the superintelligence concept will surpass all existing technological revolutions.

Meeting with the Chinese President

Trump expressed that he discussed the new naming process with Chinese President Xi Jinping and that his counterpart welcomed this decision positively.

It was recalled that the term in question was also used during Xi's visit to Washington and in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly.

New Website America.gov

Following the announcements, a new website named America.gov was introduced to the public to gather federal government services under a single roof.

With this system, which allows users to access information by asking natural language questions, the goal is to ease the search burden among more than twenty-nine thousand government websites.

Contributions of the Technology Sector

The leadership of the initiative is being carried out by Airbnb co-founder Joe Gebbia in the capacity of the government's first chief design director, with technology companies also supporting the project.

It was announced that Google's Gemini model and Grok systems within SpaceXAI were utilized during the development process of the America.gov platform.
