This situation was triggered by the new policy that came into effect in June, which allows usage logs to be stored for up to thirty days and for up to two years if flagged by security systems.
Companies' Restriction Decisions
While Nvidia is restricting the Fable model to lower-risk tasks such as open-source software projects, it relies on its own Nemotron models for sensitive work.
Palantir announced that it will not offer the Fable model on its platform until Anthropic provides an irreversible zero data retention guarantee.
