National Artificial Intelligence Platform EVREN Launched with 11 Models
Implemented by the Presidency of Defense Industries, the EVREN platform has made open-source large language models available while ensuring sensitive data remains in Turkey.
Developed by the Presidency of Defense Industries, the national artificial intelligence platform EVREN has launched 11 open-source artificial intelligence models. The platform prevents data from being transferred abroad and ensures it is processed on high-performance GPU infrastructure in Turkey.
Scope of the EVREN Platform
The national artificial intelligence platform EVREN, developed by the Presidency of Defense Industries, has been bringing together data, artificial intelligence models, and high-performance computing power on a single platform since June 2026. As of September 2026, it has opened the use of open-source large language models (LLMs) to service.
Appeals to a Wide User Base
Appealing to a broad user base ranging from defense industry firms to technology companies, from academics to entrepreneurs and students, EVREN will be actively used in the artificial intelligence production process.
Data Processed in Turkey
The data on the platform is processed on high-performance GPU infrastructure located in Turkey. Thus, sensitive data is prevented from being transferred to cloud services abroad.
Contribution-Based Credit Model
Rather than direct paid access, EVREN operates on a contribution-based credit model. Users earn credits by uploading datasets, labeling data, or sharing trained artificial intelligence models.
Easy and Secure Access Opportunity
The platform is accessed via e-Government, and there is no separate contract or application process. Public institutions and entrepreneurs will be able to develop applications without sending their data abroad.
