While warnings from Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei regarding the rapid development of artificial intelligence have caused widespread repercussions in the sector, experts stated that a balance must be established between speed and security.

Warnings Regarding Rapid Development

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei had warned that rapid progress in the development of next-generation systems could exceed control capacity. With Elon Musk and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman also supporting this call, debates on speed and security in the sector have deepened.

Controlled Progress and the Role of States

Zafer Küçükşabanoğlu, President of the Artificial Intelligence Policies Association (AIPA), drew attention to Amodei's warning for controlled progress and stated that work should not be halted.

Küçükşabanoğlu emphasized that while technology advances rapidly, legal and educational systems are lagging behind, noting that states must be at the center of orchestration.

Ethical Principles and the Need for a Common Platform

Dr. Emel Sokullu from Medipol University stated that due to the rapid advancement of technology, ethical and governance dimensions have not been sufficiently discussed.

Sokullu emphasized the urgent need to establish global common platforms and strong dialogue mechanisms.
