The US Army has awarded delivery contracts totaling $192 million to Palantir and Anduril to advance the AI-powered tactical intelligence and targeting platform TITAN program into the production phase.

Transition to Production Phase

In an announcement made by US Army officials on Tuesday, it was announced that the TITAN program has officially entered the production phase, and delivery orders totaling $192 million were placed with the companies.

AI-Powered System

Under development for years, TITAN is described by officials as a mobile ground station capable of processing data from various sensors using artificial intelligence and providing targeting recommendations, particularly for long-range fires.

Budget Distributed to Companies

The Palantir-led consortium received $127 million for the production contract, while Anduril, responsible for hardware and shelter integration, received $65 million in funding.
