The Marquette University Office of Faculty Affairs and the Jesuit Community hosted an Ignatian Examen event focusing on the topic of artificial intelligence.

Artificial Intelligence and Jesuit Values

The event aimed to discern how individuals and the community can respond to the challenges and opportunities in the age of artificial intelligence.

Emphasis was placed on how Catholic and Jesuit values can offer guidance in this process.

The Tradition of the Ignatian Examen

St. Ignatius Loyola's tradition of the Examen provides a peaceful, reflective prayer opportunity to recognize divine movements in daily life.

This prayer and reflection technique enabled participants to listen, learn, and think with a shared mindset.

Event Details and Supporters

The free gathering was held in an open environment for participants without requiring registration.

It was supported by the Office of the Provost and the Jesuit Community as part of the 'What Are We Building?' initiative.
