Trio Cuisine and Time Savings
Richard Hu, manager of the Korean restaurant Trio Cuisine located on Chapel Street, stated that artificial intelligence provides significant time savings and is necessary for the business. Hu expressed that without AI, they would struggle to produce posters and similar materials.
Gas Burgers and Historical Research
Chris Allen, owner of Gas Burgers—opened in a former gas station in North Haven—said he benefited from artificial intelligence in determining paint colors and the demographics of surrounding businesses for his 1920s-themed restaurant. Allen emphasized that the technology levels the playing field with mega corporations.
Taco's Twist Mural Controversy
Gopi Thumula, manager of the Taco's Twist restaurant opened on Grove Street, stated that due to local artists demanding high prices, the contractor used artificial intelligence for the mural, which is why they received criticism on online platforms.
