SpaceXAI Releases v0.3 Update for AI-Focused Wikipedia Competitor Grokipedia
AI-based encyclopedia platform Grokipedia has been renewed with a v0.3 design featuring a new logo, book-themed interface details, and a live edits page.
Developed by Elon Musk's company SpaceXAI and positioned as a competitor to Wikipedia, Grokipedia has undergone a comprehensive visual and functional redesign as part of the v0.3 update.
Design Changes Introduced with v0.3
Grokipedia, the AI-powered encyclopedia project within SpaceXAI, has received a new logo and interface enhancements under the v0.3 update.
Benji Taylor, head of the design team, described these innovations as a refreshed Grokipedia experience.
Revamped Homepage and Book Metaphors
The Grokipedia homepage, which previously featured only a logo and a search bar, has taken on a completely different appearance with the update.
The new page, which lists featured and most-read articles, includes digital book visuals that users can flip through and horizontally scrollable shelves.
Live Edits and Article Pages
Thanks to the new live edits page, recent changes can now be tracked more easily and collectively.
The formatting of the basic information tables at the top of article pages has been improved, and the spacing between lines has been reduced.
Platform History and Update Process
Grokipedia was launched in late October 2025 with version v0.1 using AI clones of Wikipedia pages.
The v0.2 update arrived a month after this launch, but it was observed that platform updates had stalled earlier this year.
