AI music platform Suno has released its new v6 music model, trained from scratch with the support and licensed content of industry giants.
New Version Developed in Partnership with the Record Industry
Jack Brody from Suno announced that, unlike previous versions, the v6 model was trained from scratch on a new dataset. Licensed content from industry partners such as Warner Music Group, BMG, and Believe was used during this training process.
Three Different Models and Usage Options
Under the new release, v6 is offered to users in three distinct models: v6, v6-wild, and v6-mini. While the free mini model is designed for fast and lightweight production, the v6-wild model features more natural and unexpected imperfections.
Advanced Editing and Production Features
The v6 model allows users to edit specific sections using plain text through a chat window without having to regenerate the entire song. Additionally, tracks can be generated from image, video, and audio files alongside text prompts.
