It was expressed that China is ready to work together with BRICS members to ensure peace and stability in the Middle East and the Gulf region.
Emphasis on Protectionism and Sovereignty
Xi Jinping called on BRICS countries to support the World Trade Organization-centered multilateral trading system and to oppose protectionism.
In his speech, he stated that violations of sovereignty and interference in internal affairs must be rejected, pointing out the importance of upholding international law.
Artificial Intelligence and Bilateral Talks
At the leaders' level, the deepening of cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence and the advancement of new industrialization processes were addressed.
Within the scope of the summit, Xi Jinping and Narendra Modi are scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting to discuss trade, investments, and the trade deficit between China and India.
