28th International Çivril Apple Agriculture and Culture Festival Begins

The International Apple Agriculture and Culture Festival, which will be organized for the 28th time this year in Denizli's Çivril district, will take place between September 10-13, 2026. The organization, which will feature conferences, competitions, and concerts, will be realized without any expenditure from the municipal budget.

Purpose of the Festival and Budget Detail

It was announced that the organization aims to promote Çivril's agricultural production, history, culture, and natural beauties to a wide audience.

It was emphasized that, just like in the past two years, this year's festival is also being realized without any expenditure from the municipality budget.

Culture Street and Local Values

The Culture Street, which was created for the first time last year, will take place in the festival program with a broader scope this year.

On this street, Çivril's local products, handcrafted works, and traditional flavors will be brought together with visitors.

First Day Events and Opening

The festival will start on Thursday, September 10, with a cortege march and folk dance performances.

At the finale of the first day's program, artist Ayşe Dinçer will take the stage and give a concert to the participants.

Agriculture Conference and Concerts

On the second day, a conference titled 'Agriculture and Livestock in Çivril from Soil to Future' will be held.

In the evening of the same day, Emre Oral will give a concert on the festival stage.

Historical Values and Bülent Ersoy Concert

On Saturday, September 12, the 'Çivril History and Beycesultan Excavation Works' conference will be held.

In the evening program, Bülent Ersoy, one of the prominent figures of Turkish classical music, will take the stage.

Final Program and Closing

On the final day of the festival, Lake Işıklı and the future of water resources will be discussed.

The events will conclude with mounted javelin games and a Derya Uluğ concert.
