33rd Muğla International Culture and Art Festival Begins
The traditional event to be held in Muğla will feature concerts, exhibitions, and workshops.
Realized in cooperation with the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and Menteşe Municipality, the 33rd Muğla International Culture and Art Festival will open its doors on Friday, September 25 at the Menteşe City Square.
Festival Program and Events
Realized in partnership with the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and Menteşe Municipality, the 33rd Muğla International Culture and Art Festival will welcome participants with a rich program for four days.
Within the scope of the events, concerts will be organized for music lovers, while theater performances, exhibitions, interviews, and various workshop activities will be held for art enthusiasts.
Opening Ceremony and Concerts
The official opening of the festival, which will bring Menteşe together with culture and art, will take place with a ceremony held on Friday, September 25 at 19.00 at the Menteşe City Square.
Within the framework of the festival program, a major public concert will be given by the beloved artist Gökçe on Sunday, September 27 at 20.30 at Cumhuriyet Square.
Traditional Melon Competition
The melon competition, which has become a tradition in the Menteşe district, will be held on the last day of the festival at 11.00 at Narlı Kahve with the participation of producers and citizens.
Within the framework of the melon festival events, the MUSANDER Painting Exhibition will also be opened, local producer stalls will be set up, and Hamdi Demirtaş will take the stage.
Nature Walk and Workshops
Prior to the competition program, a nature walk with the participation of attendees will be held, departing from Cumhuriyet Square at 09.00 towards the Karabağlar Plateau.
Zahit Mungan, a world-renowned kite artist who won a gold medal at a festival held in China, will organize a kite workshop in the area behind the Menteşe Children's Science Park.

Menteşe Mayor Gonca Köksal Aras stated that they have included very colorful events ranging from concerts to theater in the four-day festival.
