33rd Muğla International Culture and Art Festival Starts on September 25
Throughout the traditional event to be held in Menteşe, concerts, exhibitions, workshops, and a melon competition will meet with participants.
The 33rd Muğla International Culture and Art Festival, organized in partnership with Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and Menteşe Municipality, will open its doors with an opening ceremony to be held at Menteşe City Square on Friday, September 25.
Festival Program and Opening
Prepared in cooperation with Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and Menteşe Municipality, the 33rd Muğla International Culture and Art Festival will host colorful events for four days.
The official opening of the festival will take place on Friday, September 25, at 19:00 at Menteşe City Square, bringing the local people together with culture, art, and music.
Concerts and Stage Performances
Within the scope of the events, special concerts will be organized for music lovers, and the festival program will be full of activities.
Beloved artist Gökçe will meet with her fans and give a concert at Cumhuriyet Square on Sunday, September 27, at 20:30.
Melon Competition and Nature Walk
The traditional melon competition in Menteşe will be held at Narlı Kahve on Sunday, September 27, at 11:00.
Prior to the competition program, a nature walk starting from Cumhuriyet Square and extending to Karabağlar Plateau will be organized at 09:00.
Exhibitions and Kite Workshop
Within the scope of the melon festival, there will be the MUSANDER Painting Exhibition, local producer stalls, and a Hamdi Demirtaş concert.
Zahit Mungan, the world-renowned kite artist who won a gold medal at a festival in China, will hold a workshop on Sunday, September 27, in the area behind the Menteşe Children's Science Park.
