3rd Kepez International Culture Festival Begins
The 3rd Kepez International Culture Festival, to be held at Antalya Dokumapark, will host its visitors with a rich program of events between August 29 and September 5.
The International Culture Festival, which will be held for the third time this year by Kepez Municipality, opens its doors on Saturday, August 29. The eight-day festival will offer the people of Antalya moments full of culture and art, ranging from concerts to children's workshops.
Opening and Victory Day Celebrations
The opening of the festival will take place on Saturday, August 29 at 21:00 with an Eypio concert to be held in the Dokumapark Rear Parking Lot Area. This concert will also kick off the Victory Day celebrations.
On August 30, Victory Day, the events will continue at the Dokumapark Event Area. While the Kepez Municipality Disabled Mehteran Band takes the stage at 20:30, a cinema and documentary night will be organized at 21:00.
Concerts and Music-Filled Days
As part of the festival, the O Ses Türkiye Yıldızlar Geçidi Concert will be held on Monday, August 31 at 21:00. On Tuesday evening, September 1, the Kepez Municipality Youth and Symphony Orchestra will meet with music lovers.
Towards the final days of the festival, the Kepez City Orchestra will take the stage on Friday, September 4. The closing of the event will be held on Saturday, September 5, with the Musa Eroğlu Yediveren Orchestra concert starting at 21:00.
Special Events and Workshops for Children
During the festival, children's workshops, face painting, and balloon twisting activities will be organized every day between 19:30 and 20:30. On Wednesday, September 2, children's entertainment and a science show will be held.
On Thursday, September 3, following a cortege starting in front of the Toy Museum accompanied by the Mimar Sinan Academy Youth Band, children's and adult dance troupes will take the stage to present their performances.
Unity and Solidarity Meetings
On Friday, September 4, the seventh day of the festival, the Turkic World Countries and Communities Associations Solidarity Event will be held at 20:00. This meaningful meeting aims to strengthen cultural ties.
Kepez Mayor Mesut Kocagöz invited all city residents to share in this excitement, stating that they want to experience the pride of Victory Day and the excitement of the festival together.
