55th Anniversary of Turkey-China Relations to be Celebrated at CSO Ada Ankara
Bringing together elite artists from both countries, the "Harmony of Civilizations" concert will be presented to music lovers in the capital tomorrow evening.
On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Turkey and China, the "Harmony of Civilizations" concert will be held at CSO Ada Ankara. The event aims to strengthen cultural ties with the participation of artists from both countries.
Details and Date of the Concert
The Harmony of Civilizations China-Turkey Diplomatic Relations 55th Anniversary Concert will take place on September 10, 2026, at 20:00 at CSO Ada Ankara. The event aims to strengthen cultural ties between Turkey and China through music.
Interinstitutional Cooperation
This special organization is being realized through the joint cooperation of the Directorate General of State Opera and Ballet of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey and the China National Opera.
Artists and Orchestra
Chinese opera artists, Turkish artists, and the Ankara State Opera and Ballet Orchestra will share the same stage at the concert. The concert will be conducted by Yuan Ding and Tolga Taviş.
Musical Cast
The concert lineup features sopranos Aslı Kıyıcı and Chen Yibao, mezzo-soprano Niu Shasha, tenor Li Shuang alongside Ayhan Uştuk, baritone Jin Chuan, and bass Mehmet Yılmaz.
Instruments and Repertoire
The program will feature the piano, violin, and the erhu, a symbolic instrument of Chinese culture. Pieces from Chinese musical culture as well as examples from the Turkish and world opera repertoires will be performed.
