5th International Minstrels Festival held in Kayseri
Folk poets from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan, as well as Turkey, participated in the 5th International Minstrels Festival held in Kayseri.
Hosted by the Kayseri Governorate and the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, the 5th International Minstrels Festival took place at the Erciyes Cultural Center. Folk poets from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan took the stage during the program.
International Minstrels Festival Took Place in Kayseri
Kayseri hosted the tradition of minstrelsy, one of the most vital living traditions of Turkish culture for centuries. The event, where the saz, spoken word, and folk poetry met on the same stage, was held with high participation.
Broadly Participated Cultural Gathering
Due to adverse weather conditions, the evening held at the Erciyes Cultural Center instead of the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Millet Bahçesi witnessed the convergence of the Turkic world's shared cultural heritage in Kayseri.

Governor Gökmen Çiçek, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç, AK Party Kayseri Provincial Chairman Hüseyin Okandan, Member of Parliament Dursun Ataş, and numerous guests attended the program.
Bards from the Turkic World Took the Stage
During the evening, names such as Nargile Mehtiyeva from Azerbaijan, Tumar Nurakova from Kyrgyzstan, and Malika Aldamzharova from Kazakhstan, alongside numerous folk bards from Turkey, performed their works.
